There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you put into Forge stays on your device and is sent nowhere.
Forge is a focus app that blocks apps on your phone for stretches of the day you choose. It is made by an independent developer. Contact: sagarkikkeri16@gmail.com
Your quests and missions, the tiers you write before each session, when sessions started and ended, the reflections you write afterwards, your blocks, and your earned phone time. All of it lives in a database inside the app's own storage on your phone.
Forge has no account system, so none of this is associated with a name, an email address, or any identifier. There is nowhere for it to be sent, because Forge has no server.
There is no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK in Forge. Nothing about you is tracked, profiled, sold, shared, or used to train anything. You will not see an App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track.
Settings โ Erase everything clears your quests, sessions, reflections, blocks and phone time, and lifts any shield that is up. Deleting the app removes everything too.
Because nothing ever leaves your phone, there is nothing held anywhere else that could need deleting โ and nothing to restore from, so an erase is final.
Forge does not back anything up. If you delete the app or move to a new phone, your history does not come with you. This is the direct consequence of holding none of your data, and it is a deliberate trade rather than an oversight.
Forge is not directed at children. Since Forge collects no data at all, it collects none from children either.
There is no server to breach and no account to compromise. Your data is protected by the same device encryption and app sandboxing that protects everything else on your iPhone.
If Forge ever starts collecting anything, this policy will be updated here before that happens, and the change will be called out in the app's release notes.
